Membership Policy & Terms of Use

 

 

  1. Purpose of ACCA

ACCA (Art City Casting Agency) is a professional platform operated by Art City, established exclusively to support and develop the film, television, theatre, and media industry in Kurdistan and internationally.

This platform exists solely for artistic, creative, and professional purposes related to casting, production, and industry networking.

 

  1. Scope of Use

All members, visitors, and registered users must agree that:

  • ACCA is to be used only for legitimate creative and professional collaboration in the film, TV, and media sectors.
  • The platform must not be used for any illegal, immoral, or unrelated activity, including but not limited to: 
  •  
    • – Prostitution or sexual solicitation
    • – Human trafficking
    • – Drug-related activities or transactions
    • – Money laundering or financial crimes
    • – Political propaganda unrelated to creative work
    • – Harassment, discrimination, or exploitation

 

Any violation of this rule will result in immediate termination of membership, permanent ban from the platform, and potential legal reporting to authorities.

 

  1. Membership Eligibility
  • – Members must be at least 18 years of age or have verified parental/guardian consent if under 18.
  • – Members must represent a genuine professional or aspiring role in the creative industry (e.g., actor, director, producer, technician, editor, presenter, etc.).
  • – False representation, impersonation, or the use of misleading information will lead to suspension or permanent removal.

  1. Registration and Subscription
  • – Membership requires valid registration and may include monthly or annual subscription fees.
  • – All data provided must be accurate, current, and complete.
  • – Members agree to keep login details secure and not to share accounts with others.
  • – Paid membership fees are non-refundable, except in cases of proven system malfunction or double payment.

  1. Content & Conduct

Members agree:

  • – To upload only appropriate professional materials, such as headshots, demo reels, or project information.
  • – Not to post nudity, pornography, or sexually suggestive content under any form.
  • – Not to harass, exploit, or attempt to contact other members for personal or commercial gain outside the platform’s professional purpose.
  • – That all communications on ACCA should remain respectful, professional, and related to creative work.
 
  1. Casting & Project Use
  • – Directors and producers using the Director’s Casting Board must ensure that any project posted is genuine, funded, and legally compliant.
  • – All offers, auditions, and contracts resulting from ACCA interactions remain the sole responsibility of the participating members.
  • – Art City does not take responsibility for the actions or accuracy of member profiles or external negotiations.
 
  1. Data Protection & Privacy
  • – Personal data is collected for professional networking purposes only and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
  • – ACCA complies with international data protection principles and keeps all member data confidential.
  • – Members may request deletion of their data or account at any time.
  •  
  1. Intellectual Property
  • – All content uploaded remains the property of the member but grants Art City a limited, non-exclusive right to display it on the platform.
  • – Members may not copy, distribute, or use other users’ content without permission.
  •  
  1. Suspension & Termination
  • – Art City reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account found violating these terms.
  • – Illegal or unethical use of the platform may lead to legal prosecution and reporting to law enforcement authorities.
  • – Accounts may also be terminated for inactivity or repeated misuse.

  1. Liability & Disclaimer
  • – Art City provides this service “as is,” without warranty of any kind.
  • – The company does not guarantee employment, project success, or professional outcomes through the platform.
  • – Members use the service at their own responsibility and discretion.

  1. Updates to Terms

Art City may revise these Terms of Use at any time. Updates will be posted publicly, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
